This policy explains what Forkin Tracker collects, why we collect it, and your rights.
Who we are. Forkin Tracker is operated by Forkin Tracker Pty Ltd, Western Australia, Australia. Our contact email for privacy questions and data-deletion requests is forkintracker@gmail.com.
- Account data: email address, authentication tokens, and profile settings (region, units, height, goals).
- Food & nutrition data: foods you search, log, create as recipes, and any photos you upload for identification.
- Health-adjacent data: weight entries, body-progress photos, exercise logs, water intake, and supplement logs.
- Diagnostic data: if you submit a bug report, we may collect a recent screenshot and a short ring-buffer of UI actions to help reproduce the issue.
- Lovable Cloud (backend): your account and data are stored in Lovable Cloud, which is built on Supabase infrastructure. Lovable Cloud handles authentication, database, storage, and server functions.
- Lovable AI Gateway / Google Gemini: food photos you choose to analyse are sent through the Lovable AI Gateway to Google Gemini for food identification and portion estimation. You can always log food manually instead.
- Open Food Facts: when you scan a vitamin or supplement barcode, we query Open Food Facts to retrieve product data. Barcode scanning is limited to vitamins and supplements — we do not scan packaged-food barcodes.
- What we read: if you connect Health Connect on Android and grant permission, we read your workout/exercise sessions and, where recorded, the active calories and distance for those sessions.
- Read-only: we never write, change or delete anything in Health Connect.
- What it is used for: only to show and total your own exercise in your exercise log. It is not used for advertising, profiling or sold to anyone.
- Never sent to AI: Health Connect data is never sent to any AI service.
- Your control: you can revoke Health Connect permission at any time in Android settings or in the app, and syncing stops immediately. Exercise entries already saved stay in your log until you delete them.
- To display your nutrition, weight, and exercise information inside the app.
- To generate insights, trends, and suggestions based on your logged data.
- To improve food search and identification accuracy.
- To respond to support requests and fix bugs.
Data retention. We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, personal data is removed from active systems within 30 days, though anonymised or aggregated data may be retained for analytics.
Your rights. You can access and correct your data in the app. To request a copy or export of your account data, email forkintracker@gmail.com. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data yourself at any time from Profile > Delete Account. For anything else, email forkintracker@gmail.com.

Age limit. Forkin Tracker is not intended for children under 16. If you are under 16, do not use the app or provide personal data.
Sale of data. We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies and analytics. The app does not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising. Basic service telemetry may be collected by our hosting provider for reliability and security.
